I am headed out to Indiana for the Art of the New West exhibition at Watts Fine Art.  Here is some info on the show:

August 21 - September 18, 2010

Art of the New West" to feature new works by Logan Maxwell Hagege, Roseta Santiago, Theodore Waddell, Jacquelyn Bischak, Nicholas Coleman, Scott Tallman Powers, Doug Smith, and others. This twist on traditional Western art coincides with the fifth annual Quest for the West Art Show and Sale at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. Please join us in the gallery on August 21 from 6-9pm for the Art of the New West opening. Refreshments will be served. WAR

Just finished reading WAR by a friend Sebastian Junger, author of the Perfect Storm. Not overly political, but a real deal look into the lives of these young men who are out there fighting in a very dangerous valley in Afghanistan.  A really intense and fun read, hard to put down.
