New Painting

"Marching in the Desert"
oil/linen
20x16

Here is a new painting that was recently finished. The kind of light portrayed in this painting awakens a vivid visual memory of the desert. I am in the Northeast right now but seeing this kind of light makes me want to escape into the desert for a bit.

How can the home of prickly cactus, rattle snakes and dry wind feel so welcoming to me?

Studio Photo.

A photo of my studio as it looked when I was leaving this evening.

It has been one of my best studios, if not the best. I will be moving soon so I will have to say good-bye to it. Funny thinking back at how much time I have spent in here.

The video above is from the last Classical Underground Concert. I shot some footage of a few of the artists that were painting the pianist Yana Reznik.
