New Painting

"Marching in the Desert"
oil/linen
20x16

Here is a new painting that was recently finished. The kind of light portrayed in this painting awakens a vivid visual memory of the desert. I am in the Northeast right now but seeing this kind of light makes me want to escape into the desert for a bit.

How can the home of prickly cactus, rattle snakes and dry wind feel so welcoming to me?

Hey Logan, great piece! The desert is the awesomest...it's an uncluttered place, simplicity.

I agree Eric. The desert is such a simple place. Can't wait to get back out there. Some of my favorite places I have visited have been down unknown dusty roads.
