Getting ready for a big road trip!

I haven't been posting much because I am getting ready for a big road trip across the country. I am busy getting the van I just bought ready for the road so my girlfriend and I can camp along the way. I plan on doing a lot of painting and my girlfriend will be doing a lot of photography, I will post some of that on here. We will also be stopping off and visiting as many art museums as possible along the way. So I don't have too much new work to show, I am working on a larger Native American Portrait right now but it isn't ready for anyone to see! I will post a portrait from a recent group of paintings I did that are on view right now at John B. Strong Fine Art in Scottsdale, AZ.

Very strong piece Logan, without being over powering.

When does your trip start and who is Minnie?

Real powerful photography on Lindey's site too.
That is gonna be a great road trip.

Are we going to get to see photos of the van? (Or paintings?)

Frank- Thanks, glad you like the painting!

Lindsey and I are starting the trip very soon, Wednesday I think. Minnie is our little dog, you will see a lot of pics of her on the blog.

Eric - You will see photos of the Van on my other blog for the trip and some paintings too! I was over at Pete's place yesterday and he helped me insulate and put up wood panels in the van, then later in the day Jerome showed up and jumped in too! They did a really great job, all kinds of cool rounded corners in the woodwork.

When I got there Pete said it would take about 2 hours, I think we worked for 12 hours though! But it was fun.
